Inside city limits that is the City of Henderson Office of Code Enforcement, and outside them the Henderson County Codes Department. Both apply the Kentucky Building Code, adopted in 815 KAR 7:120.
Protect the inside first: move equipment and stock away from the drip and set out buckets or sheeting.
Then photograph the stain and wet ceiling tiles, note the time and whether rain was falling, and check a nearby drain or scupper for clogs only if roof access is safe. Keep staff off the roof during storms, then call for a roof check.
Corydon, Robards, and Spottsville in Henderson County, Uniontown and Waverly in Union County, and Clay, Dixon, and Slaughters in Webster County, along with the five towns that have their own pages. Each gets flat roof, metal roof, leak, and industrial repairs, from split seams to rusted gutters.
Start with the address. Inside Henderson city limits, the city code enforcement office handles permits, and elsewhere in Henderson County it is the county codes department. In Union and Webster counties, structural roof work goes through the state building inspector, and owners near the US 41 corridor should confirm which county they are in.
Tell us the town and what the roof is doing. We will set up an inspection and explain the repair.
